RACY BILLBOARD REMOVED IN CHICAGO
The Associated Press has reported that a racy billboard depicting a partially clothed man and woman and proclaiming “Life’s short. Get a divorce.” was removed after a week.

Readers will note that the billboard was neither removed voluntarily nor as result of pressure from the Bar. Rather, it was removed at the directive of a local alderman because no permit had been obtained for its installation.
We can only hope that the attorneys who placed this ad do a better job for their clients than whoever was responsible for obtaining the permit did for them.
