FRAUD INQUIRY LOOKS AT LAWYERS IN DIET-DRUG CASE
This article discusses a case in which the Court approved attorney's fees charged by the the attorneys for the prevailing party. Although it is not a domestic case, this case does illustrate both the need for placing caps both on what may be charged to the litigants and the imprecision of the word "reasonable."
Just because a judge says a fee is reasonable, does not make it so. Ands just because a judge says that a fee is unreasonable does not make it so.
