We are strong advocates of the First Amendment. But, this kind of thing brings discredit to the entire legal profession. Maybe a little self-policing is in order. The question is whether the folks who take this approach to the practice of law are serious professionals who deserve respect and enormous compensation or whether they should be treated like street clowns.
