South Carolina's total arrearage is now $1,127,005,777, excluding support that is not collected through the Court system. Despite the fact that the Family Court is charging Five (5%) per cent of the amounts paid through the Court as an "adminstrative fee," the total arrearage is increasing at the rate of approximately Fifty Million and and 00/100 ($50,000,000) Dollars per year. It does not appear that the taxpayers are getting much of a bang for their buck.
