ALABAMA IS STILL LISTED ON SOUTH CAROLINA DSS ABANDONED PROPERTY LIST
According to information posted at this site South Carolina still has a check for Alabama. If anyone knows how to get in touch with Alabama, please provide that information to Larry McKeown at Larry.McKeown@dss.sc.gov.

Wow, that's quite a list. I thought maybe you guys would like to help Mr. McKeown since no one in that agency seems to have access to the World Wide Web. So I did a Google search for "Alabama child support," and clicked on the link to "Child Support Enforcement Contact Information." Feel free to forward my post. Maybe someone down there in Cola. might want to pick up the phone and cut a check to our Southern neighbor.

Actually, we were kidding. With the exception of the e-mail address, Mr. McKeown has already been provided with this information. Last we heard, he was "checking into the matter...going to get a copy of that check to find out how much it was for."
