MORE EGG ON THE FACE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
An editorial in The Post and Courier takes the South Carolina Employment Security Commission to task for its "ineptitude" and outdated 23-year old computer system. It then goes on to suggest that one way to increase accountability and efficiency would be to place the agency under the oversight of the Governor. After all, that worked well for the CSED of the South Carolina Department of Social Services.
Whoops! we almost forgot--the CSED of the SCDSS not only does not have a 23-year old centralized computer system, but South Carolina remains the only State in the Country without a centralized child support tracking and collection system of any kind.
So, Post and Courier, where is the outrage against DSS?
